Andrew: AP Calculus, Physics, & Computer Science

AP Calculus, Physics, & Computer Science Tutor

Background
Hi! I’m Andrew. I’ve been formally tutoring in some respect since high school, and I’ve kept at it this long for a reason! I love teaching in all its forms, but one-on-one tutoring is probably my favorite. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Mathematics in 2023, and am currently in student teaching to become a high school math teacher. I’ve worked with students in math, physics, and computer science, and I’ve helped my friends and peers informally with high-stakes test prep as well.

Free Time
I spend a lot of my free time playing games: board games, video games, and Dungeons & Dragons especially. They’re the number one way I connect with friends and family. When I’m not gaming, I love to woodwork, spend time outside on walks, and occasionally venture out to some live music. Oh, and I have two big dogs, Lego and Yeti, who are the most adorable puppies in the world. If you want to try to prove me wrong, introduce me to your dog 😉

Goals
Shh, don’t tell anyone, but I want to learn from you just as much as I want you to learn from me. Everyone’s mind works differently, with different strengths and weaknesses, and I love every opportunity to explore those differences. I want to help my students understand and play to their strengths. Beyond that, I want tutoring to be a good time for everyone! I hope we can smile and laugh as much as we divide and multiply.
