I grew up in California and received my undergraduate degree in astrophysics from the University of California, Irvine. I worked at Macalester College for a few years until enrolling in the University of Minnesota’s Master’s in Teaching and Licensure program with the hope of becoming a physics teacher!
As a person who struggled in school with ADHD, I am very passionate about helping students understand that school can be for everyone!
I love to play and listen to all sorts of music. Since coming to the Twin Cities, I have made it a goal to see as much live music as possible! I like to play video and board games with my friends and I’m a big fan of fantasy shows and movies. I also love to cook and bake!
I want to make math and science more approachable to students, as they can be daunting subjects. I also want to help students with study skills and strategies to help make learning more enjoyable! Tutoring also gives me great experience with teaching in a one-on-one setting.
